Happy Easter!

Thank you Uncle Che and Aunt Vicky for the Easter basket and bunny ears. Nia liked them better than Sasha.

Our Easter Sunday Best

All dressed up for church. I have such special memories of picking out my Easter dresses.. always such a big deal for little church-going girls! And Nia was the same. She LOVED this dress - dancing and twirling around and saying she was dressed like a princess. That middle photo is of her on daddy's lap and praying in church. Too cute if you ask me.

Nia's 3rd Birthday

Nia's 3rd birthday party was a gymnastics one at The Little Gym where we go every Saturday. Perfect for her and her little guys at this age. Gymnastics teachers who kept them playing, jumping, and having fun and no clean up for mom! Nia had a blast.

More fun at Cedar Hill

We came to this farm last October for the pumpkin patch. At that time, Nia was deathly afraid when riding the pony. Amazing how much she's grown in 5 months. This time she loved riding!

Birthday Outing

We had such a great time Friday. We can't believe our girl turned 3! It's a good time of year for a birthday since there are so many corresponding Easter activities. We made our second trip to Cedar Hill Farm for the petting zoo, train rides, Easter Egg hunt, etc. etc.

We celebrated Nia's birthday early at preschool. So much fun. Here's one of her best friends at school, Marshall. And the last photo is of her moving her photo from the 2 year old number to the 3 year old one! It amazes me how time flies.... she really is such a big girl now

Spring is Coming!

Sunday was a beautiful day in the mid-high 70's (of course now, 2 days later it's semi-snowing and cold). Nia may have had her best day ever. We took her the the "Go Diego Go!" theater production and then went down to the Mississippi river to run and play. Here's Nia bouncing around, joyful and carefree and doing one of her favorite things - playing hide-and-seek with Daddy.
