You know how we feel about you.... but once again, thank you. Nia loves her new table - I couldn't have found a better one to buy if I'd tried. And of course, half the Barbie's on this table are also from you - so thanks again. Nia loves being a little sister to your 5!

Our Little Dancer

Nia truly loves dancing. We just finished gymnastics class, are getting ready to do swimming and we were going to start her back in gymnastics in the fall, but think maybe we should try dancing class instead. The pink outfit shows her practicing her salsa routines.... her new favorite -no joke! ESPN was showing the Salsa Championship competition and Nia was glued to the t.v. This little girl really can do some of the moves. It may be the cutest, funniest thing ever. Her mexican heritage is showing!

Backyard Fun

We've been working on our backyard - weeding, setting up the sandbox (the turtle), planting flowers, etc. I think this backyard is Nia's place.... except for those mosquitos!

Last Day of Preschool!

Well, it's school break time. We will keep busy with some day camps in June, a trip to see grandparents in Florida (and perhaps Disney World too) in July. As you can see, there's not much diversity in her preschool which is unfortunately so often the case in Memphis, but also among Air Force officers and pilots too. So, I guess nothing's new. We love the school though and look forward to coming back next year.

Mother's Day

Nia is at that age where she's rarely willng to give a "regular" smile. If the camera is pointed at her, she generally wants to give goofy faces, or play hide-and-seek. As you can see, I guess she takes after her Daddy.

Bubbles

Whoever invented children's bubbles probably did not realize the hours of joy they provided for kids! Nia's just like almost every baby and young kid I know - she LOVES them!

Our Princess

Between Christmas and her birthday, Nia acquired a lot of dress-up clothes. And dressing up is one of her current favorite past-times. On this particular occasion, she disappeared for a few minutes and re-emerged as "Mommy Princess."

She Reads!

In case we hadn't told you... Nia has learned to read! We are very proud of our 3-yr-old. She particularly likes science fiction and mystery. lol. :)

Field Day

Nia had a blast at her school's Field Day. Last year she was still a bit young and they really had to urge her to participate. This year she ran in the water balloon and pom pom relays. Our girl is fast! How quickly they grow......
