Fun in the Sun

Nia loves our almost daily trips to the pool. She's perfected her blowing bubbles which I'm told is a key step to learning to swim. Private swimming lessons start next week, so we hope to have a semi-swimmer by summer's end.

Children's Museum of Manhattan 4

So many cool things at this place!

There was a little girl who had a little curl......

No, not a budding artist..... just a destroyer. That's her ERASING everyone elses work!

We loved the outdoor play area. The water play was Nia's favorite and just sitting outside in this little metropplitan garden area was my favorite too. The temps were in the high 70's and it was a perfect day. A nice break from high 90 degree humid temps in Memphis!

Nia loved playing firefighter so much that after her first trip down the pole, she realized she needed the whole outfit. Go FDNY!

She took this firefighting thing very seriously!

Our Girl is so Silly

Of course Nia has had quite the personality for years now, BUT I think kids must really blossom around age 3. She is so full of life and pretty hilarious most the time. It'll be fun sharing her with Ian's aunt, uncle, mom and dad, and 100 year old grandmother next week during our trip to New York. We're looking forward to pizza, bagels, and fun at the Manhattan Children's Museum and Bronx Zoo so there should be some good photos coming up soon.
