And sooooo expressive. Every word that comes out of her mouth comes with so much expression, drama, and feeling. I do think she believes the world is her stage! Here she's explaining something to me over her scrambled egg breakfast.

speaking of funny girls: my daughter has three best friends, they are a tight group. I make it a point to get to know the parents of my children's friends (sometimes I add funny girls to my list of friends that way, too!) and I have so enjoyed meeting Andrea's parents. what we didn't find out until yesterday is that Andrea's father, Rique, is of Ian and Dan's 130 ilk! that so makes me laugh. what are the chances that one's youth will resurface in their friends' kids' funny-girl friends? :)
